Alcossebre

Alcossebre (or Alcocebre) is a pleasant and friendly holiday resort on the Costa Azahar. Although it gets quiet in winter, there are numerous shops, restaurants and other amenities open throughout the year, as Alcossebre is not purely a holiday destination but also a permanent home for Spanish and other European citizens alike.

The main attraction of Alcossebre are probably its beautiful beaches, of which there are five (Las Fuentes, Carregador, Romana , Del Moro, Tres Playas, Tropicana), a total of about 10 kilometres.

To the north Alcossebre is linked to the village of Las Fuentes, which itself borders onto the national park of the Sierra d’Irta. In Las Fuentes you can find some excellent restaurants and bars, as well as the marina with moorings for around 300 boats.

Only a few kilometres inland from Alcossebre you find the small town of Alcala de Xivert. With a population of over 6,000 it offers all the main amenities for this area.
