There are some beautiful beaches in the actual centre of town plus plenty of small bays either side of the centre.

Vinaros Ermita

Vinaros is a very friendly Spanish working town and not so much a tourist resort, though it does attract visitors from throughout Spain and northern Europe. There are plenty of fiestas to be enjoyed throughout the year. The Vinaros carnival which is held in February should be mentioned. The whole town takes part with stunning costumes, and street parties carry on until the early morning.

The local market (mercat) is excellent and opened daily, with fresh local fish, meat, cheeses, fruit and vegetables.
A lovely place to spend a summer evening or to go for a sunny winter lunch is the Vinaros Hermita, from where you have fantastic views of the whole coastline.
