Part of the well known Rough Guide series, this book is a must have if you want to spend your holidays travelling in Spain or are just generally interested in this fascinating country.

On over 1000 pages all of mainland Spain is covered, plus the Balearic Islands and Andorra. It is packed with information about all the different regions, towns, villages, sights, beaches and gives excellent recommendations for accommodation, restaurants and nightlife.
You can find maps for the different areas and towns, including for the public transport systems of the major towns.

There is also a lot of information on Spanish culture and Spanish history. Where a lot of guide books are to a large part filled with photos, this book's emphasis is information, and it is possibly the most comprehensive guide for the traveller in Spain today.
