When you visit the Costa Azahar or live here full or part time there is a large variety of places waiting to be explored. Apart from the different towns themselves there are nature reserves and beautiful beaches, as well as the many hills and mountains of the Castellon province. Further afield you could go on daytrips or short breaks to the neighbouring provinces.

Calig in Castellon

Situation of Calig

Calig is a small town on the Costa Azahar, located only eight kilometres inland from the Mediterranean and with direct road links to the three coastal towns of Vinaros, Benicarlo and Peniscola. This makes it a good base for exploring the coastal areas as well as the interior.
